How To Measure Yourself


Charli Couture we make all our gowns onsite personally, so we can also tailor any of our designs to suit your requirements or created brand new just for you and made in your choice of colour and your measurement to be deliveried within 6- 14 weeks dependant on the designer (Rush options available for most designers). For selected designers we also offer

“Customisation" options where you can customise and design your dress to suit your needs.


For the best results, have a professional seamstress/tailor take your measurements follow measuring guide
To avoid inaccuracies result by Taking your own measurements .
Use ONLY a standard cloth measuring tape. Do not pull the tape tightly; it should be just tight enough to stay in place. Please keep in mind that cloth measuring tapes can stretch out. It’s best to be measured

  1. Wearing the exact outfit (singlet and legging), undergarments ,slip, and shoes you'll be wearing.
  2. Following measuring guide. Make sure your measuring tape tight enough to stay in place.
  3. Double check your measurements. If you are not sure you can take photos of each step and send us your attachments
  4. Take photos of your posture with facing, side and back.
If the dress has sleeves you will need:
Upper Bicep
Lower bicep
Armpit to elbow 
Armpit to length sleeve 
If the dress is a Mermaid/ Fit & Flare you will need:
Low hip circle 
Knee circle 
Shoulder to low hip( from groin measure to 8cm)
Low hip circle: measurement around the fullest part from shoulder to low hip( from groin measure to 8cm
